We went to Camber Sands Beach and had an amazing day including a beach BBQ. The weather was wonderful, the kids were great and it wasn’t too busy – a perfect day.
The beach is great – it’s the only sand dune beach in East Sussex.  And the gradient is so gentle that when the tide goes out it goes out forever (well, probably 1/2 a mile).  That also means that you can walk out into the water for ages and it doesn’t get deep – great for keeping the kids safe!  In that  bottom middle picture you can see Daddy and Luther way out there, but the water only comes up to about Andrew’s swimming trunks!
